  • Donors who have HIV and hepatitis cannot qualify to become donors. 
  • Donors who have a history of cancer and other digestive and gut-related problems cannot also donate. 
  • There is a potential risk of infections and allergic reactions if the procedure goes unchecked. This means that often the recipient will feel infections and allergies which if neglected, can make matters even worse.
